Weekend Lecture & Workshop
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th
September 2010

Day 1 Breath, regulating fundamental acid base physiology is critical to health and optimum performance. Many clinicians tend to focus on the mechanics of breathing and often don’t include their knowledge of the underlying physiology and chemistry. This course aims to improve diagnosis and gives clinicians the tools to conduct a breathing evaluation and techniques to change patients’ breathing behaviour.

Day 2 will focus, by popular demand, on the use of diagnostic investigations, such as blood tests, their functional and pathological interpretation and development of appropriate management strategies for a variety of patient presentations.

The package price of £440* includes; 2-day course/lecture and handouts, Saturday evening accommodation and all meals at the beautiful Chartridge Conference Centre, located near Chesham in Buckinghamshire.

An Integrated Approach

With

Mr. Gerry Gajadharsingh DO

Weekend Lecture & Workshop
Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st
November 2010

Gerry qualified from the BSO in London in 1987, practices in central London and teaches Osteopathic Medicine internationally. He believes osteopaths are uniquely placed to offer primary healthcare to patients, due to their unique understanding of the structure/function relationship, as long as their knowledge of pathology and clinical medicine is updated. In addition understanding how psycho/social and nutritional/biochemical factors impact on physiology and compound the usual biomechanical/neuromusculoskeletal factors that osteopaths historically focus on, can often lead to more successful outcomes in patient management. The course is a mixture of presentations, case discussion and workshops, with the emphasis on the use and interpretation of diagnostic investigations and how this influences patient management. He has presented similar courses in the UK, Germany and Italy, encouraging the osteopathic profession to be more integrated in its approach.
