Integrated Health Screen
Integrated Health Screen (POA)
This screening procedure is based on The Health Equation team approach. Our Diagnostic Consultant will perform all the elements of the individual health screen. In addition the following functional tests, which look at nutritional, stress and exercise factors, may be offered and charged separately:
- Comprehensive Adrenal Stress Test (A saliva test to monitor 2 stress hormones Cortisol and DHEA and Secretory IgA)
- Food Allergen Cellular Test (A blood test to find food allergies/intolerances – tests 230 different foods)
- ONE (Organic Acids, Amino Acids, Oxidative Stress) A comprehensive urine analysis to understand a patients individual nutritional needs.
- CDSA2 + Parasitology. This stool test offers a comprehensive look at the overall health of the gastro intestinal (GI) tract, it provides information about digestion, absorbtion, bacterial balance, yeast overgrowth, inflammation, metabolic activity and immune function.
- A 60-minute consultation with a member of our Exercise & Rehabilitation Team to develop an exercise strategy
- A 60-minute consultation with our Psychotherapist to explore the emotional and behavioural factors impacting on the individual’s health
The integrated health screen will last around 3 hours, with a written report and a 15-minute follow-up consultation (in person or by phone if requested). Some tests such as x-rays and other imaging will be arranged at one of our local hospitals and charged separately. It is not necessary to see the Diagnostic Consultant, Exercise Specialist or Psychotherapist all on the same day.
