Mr Mike Ker MSMA MBCPA
Sports & Remedial Massage with Pilates
Private Pilates Instruction
A real hands-on team member, Mike qualified as a Massage Practitioner in 1995 and specialises in sports and remedial
massage (diplomas from London School of Sports Massage in 2000 and 2001). Believing good posture and core stability
is the key to injury prevention, he qualified in 2004 as a Pilates instructor with Body Control Pilates. He continues to
expand his knowledge and skills through workshops, seminars and conferences.
Mike treats soft tissues throughout the body and has had considerable success with long-term chronic complaints, particularly with runners. He works with people from most sports, from casual exercisers to international athletes, as well as non-sporting sufferers with postural, work and leisure problems, focusing on recovery and avoiding re-occurrence.
Pilates helps by retraining the body in the correct use of muscles, in good alignment and breathing effectively; thereby improving posture and movement.
