"Helping a patient understand the factors that contribute to their health goes a long way to helping them resolve their illnesses/problems. A 360-degree, holistic approach really does mean a better diagnosis all round." Gerry Gajadharsingh

Three parts to the equation

The Health Equation comprises three professional teams, liaising and exchanging relevant
information where necessary. Naturally, we are all regulated by our respective regulatory
bodies and follow strict professional ethical codes. Each team member carries professional
indemnity/medical malpractice insurance.

The Practitioner Team

This varied, vastly experienced team receive you in their consulting rooms whether you’re
referred by the Diagnostic team, or if you already have a diagnosis and self-refer. Working
closely with the referring practitioner, we provide the anticipated length and cost of
treatment for any spell of care.

DO – Osteopath

Osteopathy is so much more than just the treatment of bad backs. Whilst Osteopaths have an enviable reputation at
diagnosing and treating many musculo- skeletal disorders (MSD), the application of an integrated osteopathic approach (IOA) can help in the management of many complex health care problems.

Gerry Gajadharsingh qualified as an Osteopath 23 years ago and has practised in London’s West end since then. He has completed modules in nutrition and advanced pathophysiology at Masters Level. He has lectured extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the UK and Europe, in Osteopathic healthcare. He was a Privy Council appointee to the first General Osteopathic Council.

Gerry is registered with BUPA, AXA PPP and all other major health insurance companies. His appointment diary is available Monday to Friday.

Dr Brian RoetDr. Brian Roet MBBS
Psychotherapist & Hypnotherapist

We have the innate abilities to heal ourselves; what we require is the necessary support to help us connect to these abilities.

Dr Brian Roet has thirty years experience in treating patients with stress related problems. Over these years he has learnt many ways to help them understand and control the emotions that are causing their problems. He uses techniques that improve relaxation, alter attitudes, change restrictive beliefs and help patients see their problems from a different perspective. By learning about the process which is causing trouble, people learn ways to resolve conflicts and feel so much better.

Brian is BUPA and AXA PPP registered and his appointment diary is available every second Wednesday.

Ms Delphine MangouatMs Delphine Magnouat BOst
Osteopath

Delphine, a French national, fluent in French and English, graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2008 and has spent time practising Osteopathy in Thailand as well as gaining experience at the Expectant Mothers Clinic. Previous to her osteopathic studies, Delphine obtained a Sport & Exercise Science degree.  She enjoys managing the treatment of athletes to optimise fitness, performance and helping to prevent injury.

As an osteopath, Delphine recognises the importance of trying to identify any possible contribution to a patient’s symptoms. These contributions act as barriers to health and Delphine sees it as her role to identify and help the patient remove them. Treatment is avaiable for  a wide variety of patients from newborns to the elderly and Delphine can assist with conditions such as back & neck pain, shoulder injuries, postural problems, tendonitis, headaches, problems associated with pregnancy and babies with colic or digestive difficulties. Osteopathy can also provide pain relief and better control and movement of the body for problems such as arthritis, neurological and rheumatological disorders.

Delphine is available at The Health Equation on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings.
