Complex Clinical Problems

New Patient Diagnostic Consultation (60 mins) – £375
All new patients are required to book a Diagnostic Consultation with Gerry. Many of his patients have already consulted several clinicians and present with complex clinical problems.

The consultation includes:

• A comprehensive case history and assessment

• A written diagnostic report with findings and recommendations

Depending on the complexity of the case, there may or may not be time for treatment during this initial session.

Follow-Up Osteopathic Manual Treatment (OMT)

• Extended Consultation/Treatment (60 mins) – £300
  Recommended for returning patients who have not visited for several years or who present with a new clinical problem.

• Standard Consultation/Treatment (45 mins) – £245
  For ongoing care, management, and treatment of existing patients.

Complex Clinical Problems

Most patients seen by Gerry present with complex clinical problems, often after consulting multiple clinicians. This in-depth consultation includes:

• A comprehensive case history and assessment

• A detailed written report with findings and recommendations

Depending on the complexity of the case, there may or may not be time for treatment during this first consultation.

Simple / Discrete Clinical Problems

New Patient Consultation (45 mins) – £195
For patients presenting with simple or discrete musculoskeletal (MSK) issues, we offer a shorter 45-minute consultation.

• Reduced cost compared to the full Diagnostic Consultation

• Does not include a written report

Follow-Up Osteopathic Manual Treatment (OMT)

• Extended Consultation/Treatment (60 mins) – £210
  Recommended for returning patients with a new or complex problem, or those who have not attended for several years.

• Standard Consultation/Treatment (45 mins) – £170
  For ongoing osteopathic care and management.

Clinical Care Packages – OMT & Breathing Re-Education

Available with a 6-month time limit from date of purchase:

• 4 × Standard Consultations – £544 (£136 saving – 20% discount compared to individual sessions)

• Standard (30 minutes) – £130

Ad Hoc Clinical Support

• Clinical support outside consultations – £65 per 15-minute block
  (includes reading reports, reviewing investigations, or research)

• Written reports – from £120 (depends on length and complexity)
  (Diagnostic Consultation patients receive a complimentary full written report within 2 working days)

Functional Blood Analysis

• Report only – £95
  (based on blood tests you have already undertaken; does not include the test itself)

Diagnostic Investigations

Imaging (X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound, CT)

• Imaging fees – POA (paid directly to the imaging centre, usually Oryon Imaging, Wimpole Street, London)

• Administration fee – £65
  (covers request paperwork, review of images, and report with follow-up comments)

We can request a wide range of tumour markers (pricing varies):

Self-Collection Tests (TDL)

• HPV DNA High Risk Subtypes (HPVZ) – £132

Functional Medicine Diagnostics (Genova Diagnostics)

• Kits are sent directly to patients; most can be completed at home.

• Samples are couriered to Genova Diagnostics.

• Some tests (e.g., NutrEval, IgG, IgE profiles) require blood samples, which can be taken in consultation.

Equipment Hire

• CEFAR Rehab x2 NMES/TENS device (2 weeks) – £65
  (includes 8 electrodes worth £20; refundable deposit £100 if returned safely)

Cardiac Monitoring

• Holter 24-Hour ECG – Clinic Fitted Device – £200 + refundable £200 deposit
  (Report turnaround: 1 working day from device return)

• Holter 24-Hour ECG – Direct to Patient Device – £250

Managing Cognitive Decline

At The Health Equation, we offer a structured diagnostic and treatment programme (evidence informed) for patients concerned about memory, cognition, and age-related cognitive decline. Services are available at both our London and Marlborough clinics.
