Doctors of Conventional Medicine are trained in the recognition of pathology, actual disease processes. Luckily for many of us, we do not have actual pathology, however there is usually a cause for our symptoms. Our Diagnostic Consultant- Complementary Medicine, Mr. Gerry Gajadharsingh DO, has 25 years of clinical experience and receives many referrals from GP’s, Medical Consultants, other healthcare clinicians, businesses and of course other patients. His job is to make sure there is no obvious pathology, where medical referral may be more appropriate and then to explore the functional components that may be contributing to the patients particular problem. Many of his patients have complex multi-factoral aetiology (there may be many possible and often interacting causes, to why the patient is ill). Many of these patients do well with the team approach at The Health Equation but for patients with actual and sometimes serious pathology, he has an excellent referral network for specialist investigation and treatment, both surgical and non-surgical.
