Corporate Well-being Presentations

Bounce back to well-being

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of presenting to various companies, including HSBC, Standard Chartered, and Ogilvy & Mather, sharing self-help strategies for enhancing the health and well-being of their employees.

The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting measures, such as remote work recommendations, have brought about significant shifts in our work environment. Many individuals and organizations are now adjusting to this “new normal.”

During the past few years, anxiety levels among many people especially the young have surged, profoundly affecting both their physical and mental health.

As employees gradually return to offices, whether on a full-time basis or as part of flexible working arrangements, it’s evident that they will expect their employers to prioritize their well-being to a greater extent.

While companies may explore various strategies such as optimizing workspace environments and implementing flexible working policies, empowering employees with the knowledge to enhance their individual well-being will undoubtedly be a crucial component of this approach. Individuals share as much responsibility for their well-being as the companies they work for.

Corporate Well-being Presentations

Throughout my 37 years in practice, I’ve had the opportunity to lecture and present to both professional and lay audiences in the UK and internationally, sharing insights and strategies for improving health and well-being.

The approach that I’ve found most effective for employees is a formal PowerPoint presentation combined with practical demonstrations. This includes showcasing breathing behavior using a non-invasive capnometer, measuring heart rate variability in real-time to illustrate the impact of thought processes on physiology, and discussing the influence of nutrition on overall well-being.

Typically, the presentation lasts for one hour, but it can be tailored to meet specific preferences and needs. I usually provide this service to companies based in Central London but I’m open to traveling further if needed.

Given the challenges of the past few years, I’m actively seeking to support the recovery and enhancement of mental and physical well-being in the workplace. By engaging with employees and teaching them simple techniques like breathing exercises and nutritional strategies, they can take proactive steps to improve their well-being.
